Patty Sanclemente, Owner of Companion Kneads and Certified Animal Massage Therapist, has had a lifelong love and passion for animals and animal welfare.
She has always had a special connection with animals, and offers the utmost compassion and respect for all animals.
Over the years, Patty has provided volunteer and foster work for local shelters, and has worked on TNR projects for feral/stray cats. Patty has spent many hours working with and socializing the ferals that she has taken in. Massage has had a tremendous positive influence on the lives of these animals.
Patty is a graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, certified in Small Animal Massage Therapy. The certification program consisted of 200 hours of comprehensive training including: small animal anatomy and physiology, behavior, handling and management, massage techniques, passive ROM exercises, first aid, CPR and ethics. As part of her training, she also had the pleasure of completing internships at Paws In Motion Veterinary Rehabilitation Center, the MetroWest Humane Society, and Amazing Greyz Inc. Patty continues to offer her services to these shelters.

HSUS Pets for Life Behavior Certification Program (2007). This program covered a series of courses including: Animal Handling and Stress Reduction, Making Good Matches and Community Outreach, Behavior Assessment
Patty regularly attends classes and workshops in her on-going effort to learn and educate about animal health and welfare.
